Core Values
Core values are consistent, passionate
, Biblical, distinctive convictions that determine our priorities. They influence our decisions, drive our ministries, and are demonstrated by our behavior. As a church, we must determine the values by which we will live. These core values must reflect who we are as Christians and Nazarenes.1
. As a part of the Church, we must operate as a body, caring for one another, doing what is best for all.2. Full devotion to Jesus Christ must be the normal
lifestyle for all Christians.3. People without hope matter to God; therefore they must matter to us.
4. Fully devoted Christians are committed to continuous life change.
5. Authenticity is critical to spiritual and relational growth. The bottom line is, we must be "real people."
6. The Church must be relevant.
7. All that we do as a congregation must be done to bring honor to God.
8. The church is to be led by leaders who demonstrate spiritual wholeness and willingness to humbly serve.
Mission Statement: At Grace Church of the
Nazarene our mission is to lift up Christ in such a way that reflects the spiritual transformation that God alone offers through faith in Jesus Christ. And by lifting Christ up in ALL we do, we seek to draw others to Him
We do this by:• Worship "love God with all your heart." (Expressing our love for God)
• Instruction "Teaching them to obey" (Becoming more like Christ in thought, feelings and actions)
• Fellowship & Service "they had all thing common... love your neighbor as
yourself (Reach out to others in love and be involved in local ministry)
• Evangelism "Go and make disciples, baptizing them..." (Outreach to whomsoever)
